Online booking, QR ticketing, a counter workstation and a live waiting-hall display, for a bank branch, a clinic, a service desk or a restaurant.
A process, considered.
Visitors book a slot online or scan a rotating lobby QR to join the queue on the spot. Staff call the next number from a counter workstation; the waiting hall shows what is being served on a large display, updating live over server-sent events. Priority numbers jump the queue. A misfired call can be undone for eight seconds. Counter names, ticket prefixes, theme colours and industry wording are all configuration, so the same code runs a bank branch or a repair desk.
